Seychelles' .sc Joins the IANA RDAP Registry
Seychelles' .sc has moved from independently discovered to IANA-listed. The new bootstrap entry points to the Identity Digital service RDAPLookup already tracked.

.sc- RDAP endpoint
https://rdap.identitydigital.services/rdap/
IANA’s RDAP bootstrap registry now includes Seychelles’ .sc country-code top-level domain.
The entry maps sc to Identity Digital’s RDAP base URL, https://rdap.identitydigital.services/rdap/.
What changed
The IANA DNS bootstrap file published on October 22, 2026 includes .sc. The label was absent from RDAPLookup’s previous checked-in snapshot, published on September 30.
Clients using the updated bootstrap file can now discover the service through the standard IANA process, without a separately maintained endpoint mapping.
This is a change in official discovery, not evidence that the RDAP service itself launched on October 22.
What it means for RDAPLookup
With the updated bootstrap data, .sc moves from Independently discovered to IANA-listed in the State of RDAP dataset.
RDAPLookup already tracked the same Identity Digital endpoint, with a successful query for google.sc recorded on September 8, 2026. The listing improves official discovery without increasing the number of TLDs with a known endpoint in our dataset.
An IANA listing establishes the official discovery route. It does not, by itself, guarantee continuous availability, complete registration data, browser cross-origin access or full protocol conformance.
